Job Description:

This individual will be providing a Single Point of Contact for IP Telephony network and Wireless Local Area Network support. Major subtasks are: Provide a single point of contact for IP Telephony ("IPT") network and Wireless Local Area Network (“WLAN”) support related issues. Provide on-site support. Assist with break-fix activities. As an example, some of these activities may include assisting in: Voice equipment and software troubleshooting as installed by Contractor. Data equipment troubleshooting installed by Contractor. Wireless equipment installed by Contractor (Access points, Wireless Controllers, Radius Server, Location Server, and Broadband Server). Investigating intrusion detection system (“IDS”) and firewall issues. Written notification of chronic issues. Escalation and updates for break-fix issues Work Order Special Projects as defined in Section N of Appendix 11-A. Reporting. Maintain spreadsheet of client-supplied stocked inventory. Assist with virus response, as appropriate. Escorting/infrastructure security. Documentation and records management. Moves, Adds and Changes for converged network users. Provide on-site network monitoring. Provide assistance with wireless network equipment configuration if an access point needs to be replaced.
